2.2 Restricted Jewelry Products
Even within the jewelry category, the following items are prohibited:
- Illegally Sourced Jewelry: Jewelry made from conflict diamonds or gems not certified under the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, or materials from unverified or illegal sources.
- Counterfeit or Infringing Items: Fake or replica jewelry that infringes on trademarks, copyrights, or intellectual property rights, including imitation brand-name jewelry or misrepresented materials (e.g., synthetic gems sold as natural).
- Unsafe or Hazardous Jewelry: Items containing toxic substances (e.g., untreated radioactive gemstones) or materials that fail safety standards in applicable markets.
- Restricted Materials: Jewelry made from materials protected under the CITES Convention, such as ivory, coral, or endangered species products, unless accompanied by valid permits.
- Non-Compliant Jewelry: Products that violate applicable import/export or sales laws, including jewelry subject to sanctions or trade restrictions.

4. Compliance Requirements
Sellers are responsible for ensuring their products comply with:
- Applicable Laws: All relevant local and international laws governing the sale, import, and export of jewelry.
- International Standards: Regulations such as the Kimberley Process for diamonds and CITES for protected materials.
- Mallria Standards: Providing valid certifications (e.g., GIA for diamonds) and accurate product disclosures (e.g., gem treatments, metal purity).
Sellers must maintain documentation proving compliance and provide it to Mallria upon request.
5. Consequences of Violations
Failure to comply with this policy may result in:
- Removal of non-compliant listings.
- Temporary or permanent suspension of seller accounts.
- Financial penalties, such as forfeiture of sales proceeds or administrative fees.
- Reporting of illegal activities to relevant authorities.
Mallria reserves the right to take action at its discretion to protect the platform and its users.
6. Policy Updates
